I'm here to learn about real estate investing in order to generate a passive stream of income along with my other professional passion, home loans. The BP podcast has truly opened my eyes to so many possibilities and options, and I can't wait to get started on my first investment property when my wife and I are finished converting our starter home into a rental. I am a loan officer at Evergreen Home Loans in the beautiful Tri-Cities, Washington. EHL is a direct agency lender, meaning we originate residential home loans that conform to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae (VA, FHA, and USDA) with very few additional overlays. We can broker out jumbo loans and HELOCs, but otherwise don't do much creative financing that a community bank or credit union might offer. In other words, I can help with your run-of-the-mill residential home loans (such as a 3-5% down Single Family Primary Residence purchase, or the refinance portion of brrRr), but not much else. I'm always eager to answer lending questions in detail and am working on building a YouTube channel Licensed in Washington, Oregon, and California.
