I opened up my S Corp RE business in August of 1997 in the Boston area typically doing buyer rep and some rentals, I started in a 350 SF office that I shared with a Travel Agent due to a minimum of funds I had as start up ( a $7500 loan from a family member) and started to grow my business through cold calls/networking/BNI/door knocking etc I had previously been working at another RE office as a top producer however I wanted to stop making someone else rich and wanted the freedom to do other things all related to Real Estate. It was A LOT of work but things ultimately changed for the better and I started to attract more like minded agents and investors , like attracts like!! Fast forward to the present I have flipped/wholesaled/renovated/rehabbed about 100 properties throughout the years, it was a VERY difficult experience at the beginning and I had zero guidance doing it and made many costly mistakes!! But with hard work and determination I am running a successful RE business in Boston and look forward to getting up everyday to go to work! I would like to share my experiences with anyone who is interested I have no angles here except "playing forward" all the help people have provided for me throughout the years! I am always interested in speaking with anybody to help/guide/assist or mentor! Additionally I have vast knowledge of area markets and an excellent ability to perform "spot on" Comparative Market Analysis and though I am NOT an attorney have a good knowledge and understanding of Massachusetts Real Estate laws and regulations.
