Samuel Riehn

Hi! My name is Sam Riehn. I am an Investment Analyst/Blogger on Seeking Alpha, owner of LT Capital LLC, and Contracting Officer in the US Air Force. Growing up I worked for my father's contracting company who built over 300 homes in my hometown, and repaired thousands more (mostly foundation repairs). I grew up around woodworking with both Grandfathers having woodworking shops, and real estate with my father flipping homes and investing in historical rentals. I left home for the Army where I served a year in Marion Military Institute before being picked up by the US Air Force Academy. I graduated USAFA in 2013 with a B.S. in military strategic studies, and then Eastern New Mexico University with an MBA in 2016. I currently own LT Capital LLC, which started as a real estate holding company, before also becoming a parent company to all of my side hustles; including a custom furniture business Riehn Furnishings, an apparel company Nilly Apparel, and a sports consulting company, Build Your Team. All told, LT Capital LLC now owns and manages $750,000 in assets. The principal of which is still multi-family real estate. Entrepreneurship has always been my passion, since I come from a long line of small business owners. My father, brother, sister, both sets of grandparents, 3 uncles, and 6 cousins, each own their own companies. I was the oddball who went military instead of creating a start up, so in 2014 I created LT Capital LLC. I am a strong believer in Dave Ramsey's methods of building wealth. I think the key to growing any venture is a strong balance sheet, and that has been my focus. Slow but steady, and de-leveraged growth.
