I’m an aspiring RE entrepreneur looking to grow a cash flowing portfolio of 100 rental units in the next 15yrs by self acquiring 2 doors a year for the first 5 years and then growing a team to scale up my acquisition strategies thereafter. My plan is to acquire properties I can inject forced equity into by adding a bedroom or light remodels. I'm going to A/B test two different avenues of RE: Opportunity Zones in NJ (right outside of NYC) & STRs in Upstate NY. I used to work in affordable housing in Florida and plan to rezone the SFR for Section-8 or other affordable housing programs if the opportunity is right. I know the space well and appreciate the programs, especially when you have the right tenants and intentions. I live in Chatham, NJ with my wife and two daughters and family is everything to me. For the last decade I’ve been leading teams at technology companies. I enjoy the outdoors and anything that’s hard work (avid marathon runner and triathlete).
