I have had a long standing fascination with most things real estate for most of my life. I started learning about the whole RE investing world in the late 80's with Dave Del Dotto's No Money Down system, and Carlton Sheet's program. Then moved on to Ron Legrand's books in the 90's. All good stuff, but, nothing beats the real experience of successes .... and misfortunes in buying, rehabbing, selling, and rentals, I have done all the above. Experience: I am a Certified Real Estate Appraiser (Since 1997), hold a Real Estate Broker License, and am an active RE investor. I started investing in 1988, but more actively in 2001. I have owned rentals in multiple states since 1997, and have done dozens of flips, rehabs, and a couple of ground-up builds, and more. Real Estate Goals: I’m currently diving into alternative building systems that make construction faster, more efficient, and more affordable. Right now, I’m working on a personal project using a system with no wood at all — just steel framing inside thick foam walls. I also recently got certified in another system that uses structural foam with a proprietary exterior coating, creating a strong, super energy-efficient shell that’s built to last — and more affordable. What really interests me is how these systems can cut build time, reduce costs, and make it easier to create affordable, durable, low-maintenance housing — perfect for ADUs, infill lots, or small multifamily projects. The idea is to use these methods to build smarter, more resilient housing that actually pencils out — whether for rentals, affordable homes, or long-term holds. Other huge benefits are fire/mold/pest resistant, and low maintenance. One of my goals is to provide affordable, high-quality construction while also helping to maximize investor profit potential. I’m looking to connect with like-minded, experienced investors to share insights — the good, the bad, and the ugly — so we can all better navigate the real estate world together. I’m also open to partnering on larger projects, depending on the fit between the partners and the opportunity. In addition, I’m actively looking for clients and investors who are interested in building with alternative systems — especially those who value speed, durability, and long-term efficiency. These systems are ideal for ADUs, rentals, and infill development, and offer a more affordable, high-quality, and efficient approach to construction that can help maximize both value and profit potential. I'd love to work with others who want to bring these innovative, cost-effective building methods to life.
