Pronouns: she/her My wife Carrie and I are investors looking to grow our real estate portfolio through long-term buy and hold rentals out of state (Cleveland). Our current portfolio includes two successful self-managed vacation rentals in different California markets (Tahoe & Palm Springs), as well as our primary home in San Francisco, which we have house hacked in the past, and most recently adding 10 doors in Cleveland in 2021. While we enjoy our W2 jobs (in tech & education), we don't want to be tied to them forever, and Carrie is already semi-retired to allow more time for her writing career. Our main goal is growing our cash flow to reach financial independence. Fun fact: Carrie is a 3rd generation RE investor - if only it was as accessible for us to buy and rent out properties in SF as it was for her grandparents!
