My husband and I took the leap to invest in our first property one year ago, a short-term rental on Grand Lake in Oklahoma. We have learned a great deal this year and are ready to expand our portfolio in Oklahoma / Northwest Arkansas. We love the STR business, but are looking to move more into the mid-term pocket while also learning more about the BRRRR strategy. I am "eligible" to retire in two years and hope to find a second career (semi-retirement) in real estate investments. I am pursuing my real estate license and hope to work with other real estate investors and explore the world of wholesale in the future.
