My husband and I are real estate investors in southeastern Michigan, with experience in rental properties, flips, construction projects, and short-term rentals. My husband renovates/builds custom homes in Ann Arbor. He's obsessively committed to detail and quality, with a great instinct for estimating costs, and I'm an obsessive observer of the unique real estate market here. My other profession is educational consulting, which takes me all over southeastern Michigan, so I keep tabs on school quality and investing potential in various communities. My kids cry "Not another yucky old house!" when my car slows down in front of a For Sale sign. I have a real estate license, primarily for use with our investing, but I occasionally assist other investors in the area.
