My name is Sarann, I am originally from Cambodia when I was 16. Currently, I work as a research scientist for a pharmaceutical company. I feel very fortunate that I get to work in the field that helps improve the quality of life for many people. However, in 2016 after working for the past 5 years, I realized that my financial situation was not in the condition I would love it to be, I felt ashamed and frustrated. So, I have started looking at my financial statement and began reading a lot about personal finance and how to gain financial freedom, and yup Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad had kept me awake for many nights. And finally, I decided to take my chance and purchased my first 2-family property in Lowell, MA. And in 2016, I purchased another property in Fitchburg, MA a later. There were ups and downs through these years, and I still have fear, but I am very glad that I took the chance, and I hope I will continue to take the chance and learn from many people here in BiggerPocket and other investors.
