As soon as I got my first job doing taxes and auditing casinos at a CPA firm in Reno, I started buying rentals as fast as I could. It happened to be a great time to buy...it was 2008-2011; the market had the lucky combination of fairly low interest rates AND low prices due to the high amount of foreclosures. Through the years I've acquired single-family rentals, multi-family rentals, and performed flips. These days I co-own a company that flips properties continuously in the Reno/Sparks area. Our current volume is around four to six flips per year, though we plan to expand this in the future. I am interested in buying AirBnb properties in Big Bear, CA or San Antonio, TX to expand my knowledge and cash flow.
