I am a 50 something gentleman, in South Texas - closest major city is Corpus Christi, but I'm equidistant to San Antonio, Austin and Houston. I want to become financially educated. No matter what area, I am looking at I am making myself better educated, and informed. I'm a former business owner (I had a music shop for about 10 years) I private teach from my studio in the evenings. I have an online music teaching website, and that has been going since 2009, and I am currently revamping that, to improve (mostly) passive income. I have students from all over the world. In the daytime, I work a normal job, that allows me some independence and I listen to audio books on business, self development and finance all day long as I work, and I am focusing that income for opportunities to build my assets and positive cash flow. It's great, they pay me to better learn how to improve my life! In the 90's I held a real estate license in California, but of course it is no longer active. I do have some cursory knowledge of Real Estate, however. I have read 4 books in the Rich Dad Poor Dad series, and that was the catalyst that changed my thinking, and ultimately brought me here. I also have studied Warren Buffet and Benjamin Graham, and consider myself a "Value Investor". I am looking forward to getting to know others. Thanks for stopping by!
