Sean McKenna

I moved to Manchester NH 5 years ago from Springfield Ma. I studied business management at Westfield St and I have always been skilled with my hands from a very young age. I have always been interested in real estate and multi-family properties. After high school while in college, I worked full time for Aspen Square Management and I loved it. I learned a little about a lot of things working there. I was a wire monkey for the electricians, the plumbers taught me how to solder. I was eventually teamed up with the HVAC dept and I started installing and servicing boilers and AC. Fast forward a bit to after college I became a district manager for Subway managing 9 stores. My passion for real estate, remodeling and repair never went away. I started getting involved with leasing, repairs and remodels of our stores. I now work for a construction company in Ma. I have flipped and managed rental properties and enjoy working with other landlords helping them through remodels. I don't have a ton of cash but I bring other very valuable skills to the table. I am a licensed HVAC contractor and an experienced remodeler and builder. At this point in my investing career I am still buying condemned properties. Fire damage, water damage etc. that no investor will touch. It's pretty much what I can afford. They take a long time and are a nightmare with permitting but the reward is handsome and a ton of lessons are learned along the way. The last one sparked me to finally apply for my septic installers license and I have started to dabble with ICF construction.
