I am a father of 6 who has been in healthcare since 17, I'm 44 now. I am a surgical physician assistant and due to divorces I have nothing to show for my time in. I need a way to sustain myself when I retire, and I really love real estate. I also have a business degree in healthcare administration. I also can build or fix any housing problem except for replacing a breaker box. I am looking to get really dirty in this industry because my fiance is the one pushing me she has many properties and wants me to get her more, however I'm new to this with the exception if reading countless books and hundreds of hours of videos on the industry. Looking for local help. I have found about 3 deals I can honestly say a hard money guy would have liked, but funding always gets me. I also have a partner and we tried to put a house under contract in June 14 we are still waiting for an answer from PNC. Very frustrating. Well that's me, I am moving forward come hell or high water, if anyone can help great, if not, I'll get there. Maybe next year instead of next month, but I will get there. Update: I wrote the above as a beaten man, I have since put 2 properties under contract, 1 netted me $8,000 and I waiting for the next to get rehabbed. Nothing sexy, I realize that but I'm moving in the right direction. funding is easier now but I pay a premium. It will tighten up soon.
