After a 15-year career in sales and management, I began my journey to real estate investment in 2013, while still employed in the corporate world. I've always been interested in design, renovation, and real estate. After spending several years learning as much as possible about real estate investment and partnering with others who had more experience, I felt ready to take on my own "flip". I bought and completed it in 2015. In late 2016 after several more flips, I made the decision to leave the corporate world and focus on my real estate business. I obtained my real estate license and also began offering design and staging services as part of my business, Yellowhouse LLC. My home staging company is Yellowhouse Staging- www.yhstage.com. I love everything about what I do, and enjoy learning from others in the investment world. I also hope to be helpful to anyone who is trying to learn or grow their business. Experience: Over 10 "flips" of my own and/or with a partner in the past four years Partnership in a rental investment company Rehab and renovation project management and design for multiple investors; (involvement in over 30 deals over the past three years) Renovation design and home staging for both investors and homeowners Successful home staging business since 2018 Commercial space design experience Multiple real estate transactions and listings as a Realtor I'm a licensed Realtor in Ohio. Real Estate Goals: In 2020 I added "Educator" to my resume and plan to continue to expand that role over the next three years. My goal is to help potential real estate investors successfully self-educate, learn fundamentals, make good decisions, and partner with the right team members. It's my belief that there are too many paths to confusion for the typical "newbie", and too many "sharks" that will take advantage of their confusion and enthusiasm. I'd like to help by providing real guidance, realistic expectations, and fundamentals of not only REI, but also business skills and a healthy ability to think critically and self-educate. I'm also looking to expand my foothold into multifamily investments, as well as continue to expand and grow my design and home staging business, and I will continue to purse rehab-to-resale opportunities and partnerships.
