Sherman Ragland is the founder of The Greater Washington, DC Real Estate Investors' Association, better known as dcreia.com. He has been an active real estate investor since 1986, when he graduated from the Wharton School of Business with an MBA in Real Estate Development. He was awarded the CCIM designation from the CCIM Institute and has been widely recognized for his insight in real estate investing strategies, especially for the new investor. Inc. Magazine called Sherman, "America's Real Estate Mentor" in 2012. Experience: 1986-1988 "Employee 2" at Xerox Realty on the team that developed Lansdowne, Virginia. 1988-1993 The Oliver Carr Co, Development Manager, City of Alexandria, VA in the development of mixed-use projects near the King Street METRO Station. Real Estate Goals: Create passive income for my kids, kids. Teach as many people, who want to learn, about the right way to get started, make money and create wealth through real estate investing. Currently Seeking: Commercial properties within 90 miles of D.C. Anything $500,000 to $5,000,000.
