My best friend and I were coming out of university in 2007-2008 knew we had the drive and goal to become investors so that we can make our money work for us, as of today we have Flipped, BRRR and HouseHacked 7 homes, with 9 rental units. We both bought SFR in 2009, couple years past and we made some decent equity, with the beginning of the bull market we started investing and flipping homes. We flipped 5 homes, some were wins and some we broke even. Quickly learned that we need to get buy and hold rental properties to really see wealth. After the market didn't make sense for flipping we bought a SFR and BRRR'd it. Now we have purchased a SMF that I am house hacking which is a wedge deal from the moment of purchase! Just purchased another duplex through this lock down and Pandemic! Love this evolution of real estate and the support we give each other to really grow!
