Simon Cox

I was born and raised in Arlington, TX just outside of Dallas. I studied Business at the University of Texas at Arlington & University of North Texas. In June 2012, I married a beautiful woman from Buffalo, NY and began working with our church in Grand Prairie, TX. We began missions work early 2013 which took us to Kansas City, Thailand and Colorado. In January 2015, we moved to Jordan to work with Syrian refugees. We did that for 1.5 yrs and now live in Metro-Detroit (Dearborn). We have 3 little boys with a 4th on the way! We attend Dearborn Evangelical Covenant Church where we are a part of a strong community of believers who help each other follow Jesus! I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, running and playing soccer. My primary investing goal is to build up a portfolio of single-family and small multi-family properties that produce $10k net cashflow each month! The podcasts, books, and forums here on BiggerPockets have been essential in showing me what is possible through real estate! I am building a wholesaling company as well to source off-market opportunities in SE Michigan! I also work as a Realtor servicing Southeast Michigan. Buying or selling a home is a major life event and I consider it an honor and joy to get to walk through the process with my clients!
