I'm a Civil Field Engineer and Volunteer Youth Pastor in Richland, WA. My wife and I bought a duplex for our first house (Alphabet "A" house for those who are familar with the area) and spent 2 years completly rebuilding both units. Currently we live in one unit and are looking forward to getting the other unit finished. I also built on a garage with a 530 sq. ft. room above that we would like to turn into another unit down the road. I'm looking forward to learning from others on here on how to get started in real estate investing, specifically with residential rentals. I believe that is my path towards financial freedom and retirement.
