Hi everyone, My name is Sonia and I am a REI and Realtor from the Boston area with 16 doors. My first bumpy ride into real estate investing was back in 2011 on a triplex with 3 of my girlfriends and it needed a complete gut job. It was an invaluable experience with so many learned lessons about budgeting, construction, partnerships and detail orientation that I still take with me to this day. Since then, I've invested in other local properties in the Boston area. As many Bostonians know, the market is tough in MA and with the superior tenant friendly laws and low cash flow, I started to invest in out of state properties in 2021 to produce both cash flow + appreciation. As of 2024, we closed on 8 SFR rentals and a duplex in the booming Huntsville, AL area as well as 4 SFRs in the Columbus OH market. Today, I am focusing more on learning how to effectively manage STR and MTR in both areas and how to scale effectively. I am excited that I bumped into the BP culture and to see that there are so many bright, driven and like minded individuals who share the same goals toward financial freedom.
