My passion for real estate was sparked when my husband and I restored and converted a historic former dairy warehouse in the New Orleans French Quarter into a thriving mixed use condominium building in which we lived. Transforming this beautiful, empty art deco building into a vibrant part of the community inspired me to leave my career in fundraising and marketing to engage full-time in real estate. I've since moved to Raleigh, sold my investments in New Orleans, and purchased four rental properties in North Carolina. I've been following various Bigger Pockets forums and have recently begun using the website to connect and network with other investors.
