I'm a transplanted midwesterner - I've lived in Northern California for almost twenty years. I work as a writer and enjoy considerable flexibility in my job which has allowed me to learn to rehab, manage contractors, learn about financing, and explore various bay area markets. I'm a highly motivated beginner! I have two children in their twenties, and enjoy camping, hiking, and exploring the West.
