Immediate goal : Acquire one Turnkey property (SFH) in a B/C+ areas with some balance between cash flow and appreciation. As I build my confidence, gradually move to bigger and better deals. Currently doing: IT contractor , working short term contracts and taking massive breaks in between to travel around the world. Assets: Sitting on some decent savings, good earning if/while I work, plenty of free time, frugal lifestyle Worked/ lived in 12 states / Multiple countries in the last 10 years. Hence, "invest in your own backyard" piece of advice does not apply to me, as I do not have a "backyard". Future goal: (chronological order) 1) Stop traveling and concentrate on ONE thing. That is : Building a $2K a month passive income through real estate 2) Take a work from home job and move to Argentina/Brazil/Chile etc ( I did that before) 3) Keep investing passive real estate , and put more time on my IT services business 4) Travel to all 196 countries (right now at 42) 5) Increase my involvement in social entrepreneurship - Sustainable agriculture and housing , early childhood education in remote Himalayan regions (where I come from)
