I grew up in the construction industry, working with a small local contractor that was a family friend through High School. This experience taught me that while I enjoyed the construction process, I did not want to be like the people I worked with that were swinging a hammer for a living their entire lives. After High School I went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management. Upon graduating I got a great job with a large international Construction Management Firm and proceeded to spend 5-1/2 years traveling both internationally and domestically for work. By the age of 26 I had been intimately involved with more than $150 million worth of construction projects from start to finish. My interest in real estate also began in my youth, as several of my dad's friends owned rental property and lived very comfortable lives despite being blue collar types. Although my parents did not own any investment real estate, I was exposed to it from a young age which made it a little easier to jump in and get started. I have been based back home in Massachusetts since October 2013. I bought my first Rental Property in September 2014, a 2-family building about 45 minutes outside of Boston. I closed on my second Rental Property in June 2017, which is another 2-unit in the same community. I closed on my third property, a 4-unit building in the same community as the first two which came from a direct mail lead, a couple days before Thanksgiving 2018.
