I have been in real estate for most of my life some way or another. My dad was an appraiser and bought houses and flipped back in 70's and 80's in a small rural town in Southeastern Kentucky. I followed in my dad's footsteps and became an appraiser as well but only in past few years have I started investing in real estate. My first deal was a buy and hold and my second was a flip then I would up selling my buy and hold for a $10K profit and discovered the quick cash benefits of flipping. In 2011-2014 I flipped about 10-12 houses with pretty good results with one big lesson learned and became frustrated and went back to buy and hold of which I currently have 3 rentals and looking to expand so I joined bigger pockets.
