My background is in Biomedical Engineering. I worked at the University of Utah Hospital doing research on artificial hearts. I quickly realized I do not like working for someone else (someone controlling my time, pay, and future). Discovered BiggerPockets a few months later and the amazing world of Real Estate. Ever since I have been passionate about REI, I think about it every spare moment I have. 2015 I did my first deal a Duplex House hack and was hooked. I did a couple flips and buy and holds in 2016. February 1st 2017 I quit my job as an Engineer moved across the country to pursue my passion in Real Estate full time. I was a Partner and COO of Memphis Investment Properties from 2017 to 2023. Over the 6 years there we have bought, renovated and sold around 1500 SFR's. I managed the day to day operations of acquiring, and selling SFR-4 Plex Turnkey properties in Memphis TN. I used my engineering skills to organize and streamline the day to day systems and processes of the business. I also have syndicated a 1600 MF apartment doors over 10 different complexes. Additionally I personally own a few other SFR's and AirBNB's. I also business consulted for a Property Management company for 4 years and also a few other investors across the country. Today I syndicate 100+ unit Multifamily properties in Nashville and Chattanooga TN.
