Semi-retired. Woodworker, DIY enthusiast, part time handyman (tool money...LOL!) In August of 2020 we sold our home in Novato, CA that we had turned into a rental single family home. We are now - as a family - are considering purchasing a multi-family dwelling, where our daughter would live in one of the units and the other would be rented out. In 2016 we purchased our current residence in Brightwood, OR, which we moved onto full time in July of 2018. The property came with two homes on it. We live in one and the other we turned into a short term vacation rental. Even though we had a rental unit, I still consider myself a newbie when it comes to real estate investing. So with that - I am also a SPONGE....wanting to soak up as much information as possible.
