I am interested in all types of real estate investment. I am currently an SBA underwriter, working on-call during disasters. Although fairly new to real estate investing, I have worked in and around real estate for over 20 years. My real estate investment interests have changed over the years. As our economy shifts, so have my investment efforts. I am focused on distressed apartment properties, specifically small and medium sized complexes. Home Owner Association (HOA) receivables is a fairly new area that also interests me. In "super priority" lien states, when a HOA forecloses on a PUD or condo, the mortgages are wiped away! This area could be a bonanza for foreclosure investors.
