Sterling Fields

Born and raised in Mississippi, and proud of it! I grew up working construction jobs every summer since I was about 12, don't tell the Department of Labor. My dad, who has been a contractor for almost 40 years and is one of the best out there (seriously), has shared and continues to share a wealth of knowledge with me on the subject. I love to use my hands and be active. My degree is in finance (2014), so obviously I am a math nerd as well. I currently work as an analyst for a multifamily developer, if that says anything. My lovely wife is a kick A attorney, and is 100% on board with me in our real estate journey. We are both perpetual students of anything and everything! Real estate is a passion of mine and since I found BiggerPockets I am more focused than ever. Experience: I have a fair amount of construction experience for my age, but have only done it "full time" for about 6 months. That being said, I am a licensed commercial contractor, and will have residential by 2018. My wife and I started by house-hacking a duplex, which we now rent out both sides. We also own a 4-plex. 6 units in 4 months and we are focused on growing faster! Real Estate Goals: I want to be a real estate ninja and learn every aspect of making money in this business. More specifically, I want to own 50 units that cash flow $200 per unit with at least a 12% COC return. Currently Seeking: Rentals and flips
