Steven J. Umaña

I am a Columbus, Ohio based real estate investor and a commercial real estate and finance attorney. My wife and I currently own two properties in the Columbus area: one duplex and one single family home. The duplex is cash-flowing and we are living in the single family home while we renovate it. I'm interested in properties in the Columbus, Ohio area especially in neighborhoods with great school districts and Columbus city property taxes, and hope to add more of these properties to my portfolio in the coming years. In my law practice, I advise investors, developers and lenders in a wide variety of real estate and finance matters and transactions, and assist clients in the purchase and sale of multi-family apartment complexes, commercial and retail property and affordable housing development projects. I also assist clients with entity formation, drafting and negotiation of loan documents, commercial leasing matters, and legal opinions, among other things.
