I have been in real estate rental properties since 1997 when we moved to Washington from California and rented out our CA house for many years. Throughout the years, our equity skyrocketed so we refinanced and bought five Seattle 4-plexes over 3 years starting 2005. We went through the crash and survived. In 2014 we sold all of our properties because of a divorce. I am on my own as an investor now and recently purchased a 3 unit property in CA which I have remodeled and am now renting out with positive cash flow. I'd now like to grow my portfolio. I also am an educator and business owner and I am focused on growing my business which I have been running for 10 years.
