Shawn Swagler

Hi I am a full time firefighter with a fire department in a southwest suburb of Chicago. I've been on the job for 25 years. I bought my first 2 flat rental property 24 years ago. Bought my 2nd building, a 3 unit, 2 years later. House hacked that one. In 2001 bought a single family home, which I rehabbed myself for 2 years. Concentrated on my firefighting career and family since then. Also worked doing construction with my partner, who is also a firefighter at the same fire dept. Back in the real estate game in 2016. Formed M/S Builders LLC with my partner Dave from the firehouse. Did our first flip together and sold in Feb. of 2018. Looking to BRRRR on the next 3-5 properties then get back to flipping. Been a member of Bigger Pockets since November of 2017. Learning a ton from the Podcast, Webinars and Forums. Always looking to build relationships. Love the community!
