In 2004 I bought my first house. I loved the process so much I got my real estate license in 2006. In 2013 I joined Vacasa and helped grow a small vacation rental company to the largest vacation rental company in North America. In 2017 I decided to grow my real estate side gig into a real estate team. In 2019 I launched the Oregon brokerage for Vacasa Real Estate as the managing broker. I left Vacasa in 2023 and started my own brokerage, Harcourts Home Oregon Coast. With over a decade in the Oregon Coast real estate game, and a direct focus on vacation rental real estate on the Oregon Coast since 2013, I can confidently say no one knows how to find a rental investment opportunity on the Oregon Coast as well as I do. My own investment journey is starting in 2020, as I'm ready to grow my personal portfolio of investments homes both on the Oregon Coast, for short term rentals, and in the Midwest for my long term rental strategy... I've got a bit to learn about that second part of the plan and I'm learning as quickly as I can.
