I have been doing investing full time since 2001 (real estate and equities) although I did buy by first rental in 1981. Had my own public accounting firm until 1991, consulted for a few years after that and became a day-trader in 1999 for a couple of years. Then decided to make real estate my full time focus starting in 2001.
