I am a father of 3, a husband, and brother, a son, and a man of integrity. I have worked professionally in real estate since 2014. I cut my teeth in this journey with a company called Charm City Builders and was fortunate to meet two savvy mentors, Tyler Banks and Brooke Kaine. These two owned the company and had a diverse set of real estate skills that offered me a glimpse into marketing, finance, construction, but most of all grit and what it takes to be successful in this business. In 2018 I partnered with one of my mentors and began to purchase single and small multifamily property with the intention of reaching a critical mass to achieve $10k/mo. in cash flow. We blitzed the market and bought every deal that looked good on paper and I am still feeling some of the sting of that mistake. I have learned extremely valuable lessons along the way; we now own 30 units in and around Baltimore City. In 2020, and as a result of some management woes coupled with covid-19, I took a pause on increasing the rental portfolio and focused entirely on fix-and-flips. As of October of 2020 I am on pace to complete and sell 17 flips this year and have leveraged strong relationships with contractors along with a smoking hot market to have my best financial year to date. I am now looking to hit the reset button and start from scratch with the proper systems and focus to build a residential investment portfolio that will cash flow $10k/mo. net of all expenses. In the meantime, I will continue to hone the fix-n-flip business with a focus on adding systems and finding value-add properties. I am seeking small mutli-family deals, single-family flip deals, networking/personal development opportunities, and to link with anyone for whom I may learn or help to provide value to.
