We are based out of Oakville (GTA), Ontario. I do Consulting in Financial services and invest in real estate on the side. Experience: I started in 2005. We have 2 duplexes, 1 triplex, 7 single family that are long term rentals. Had 2 lake front properties running as STRs in Eastern Ontario but lost money in both. So exiting SFRs and using them as LTRs now. Currently working on putting in a legal basement in my principal residence and doing a reno for the 2nd Lake front STR.
