Started flipping houses in 2020 with some big results. I did all the work and made some good money. Then covid hit and I could no longer afford to purchase houses for cash so I took my cash and invested in a franchise resturant. I did a complete resturant renovation (I did the work myself) in 72 days. 21 days after we opened we got sued for trademark infringment and lost everything. I should have never left what I knew...Real Estate. If I had the $250k I lost I could have at least 10 rentals. Instead I am starting over. I am currently getting my Masters at ASU so I can get the income needed to qualify for multiple rentals. Till then I am a handyman in the Phoenix area.
