Hi! My name is Tom. I am a Rental Property Investor and Lover of Vintage Homes (Mid-Century and Victorians). Like many of you, my real estate investing journey began in June 2023 after I discovered the Bigger Pockets Community. I delved into every episode and learned all I could about real estate investing with the goal of acquiring a small and mighty rental properties portfolio to help me achieve financial freedom! In March 2024, I purchased my first SFH in Florida where I had family who would be my boots on the ground. The property is a traditional long term rental that covers my mortgage payments and provides me with tax benefits of real estate investing. I am looking for my next investment property, a SFH or MFH, in my new hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Also, would love to meet other investors who are a few years ahead of me to trade real estate ideas.
