Thomas Nance

I am full-time real estate investor in the Charlotte/Gastonia area. Upon graduating from UNCW in 2007 with a degree in Biology, I took the risk to become a full-time, real estate investing entrepreneur and purchased my first house. I have built a business out of buying and holding houses while striving towards financial freedom with investments. I have renovated a wide variety of homes, from a 1920's cottage in a historic neighborhood to a tri-plex. I believe that real estate investing is hands-on, and you can find my many days working alongside my contractors at a flip or a rental property. The key is finding the balance between how to manage your time wisely while gaining the respect of your contractors, tenants, and fellow investors. My deals include and not limited to purchases at foreclosure auctions, negotiations for owner-financing, deals through door knocking and mail outs, as well as deals with other investors through wrap mortgages, hard money loans, wholesale deals, and equity participation. My investments also include a focus on wealth building through retirement accounts. Becoming an active investor was no easy task, but I have no regrets with my real estate career. I enjoy helping and encouraging other new investors who are eager to begin their journey out of the rat race. My early successes has made me appreciate the power of working for myself. I have and will always put my family first. Ultimately, I will spend all my time with them and let my money work for me. I welcome the advice and help. Thomas
