Hello All! I'm a small town guy that lives with 4 girls in a town of 450 people. My 3 daughters keep me busy. I am addicted to real estate podcasts and love to learn the the various ways that real estate can secure your future. I'm an analyst supervisor for the NE Department of Insurance and am an accountant by trade. I have my CPA license and an MBA with an emphasis in accounting... yes I'm a numbers guy. I'm always looking to learn new things and really have put an emphasis on growing my network in the coming months and years. Good luck investors find that pot of gold and then tell us where its at! Experience: I've been interested in real estate since I was a kid but didn't pull the trigger until about 6 years ago. I have 2 duplexes, and a 4-plex in my personal portfolio, and a 12-plex, 5 plex, and a few houses in another partnership I'm in. I worked with my father-in-law while I was going through school building houses with him. I probably helped him build/renovate or add onto between 30 and 40 houses during that time. Real Estate Goals: My goals for the upcoming few years is to ramp up my purchasing with a focus on either multifamily dwellings or turnkey properties. I am still working through this in my brain. I am all about the passiveness of the real estate and don't really like to deal with the tenants or repairs. I am willing to get my hands dirty though. Finding a mentor that I can bounce questions off of is also high on the list of goals. I've read some stuff on syndication and that seems pretty cool too.
