Troy Gandee is a Broker-in-Charge, investor friendly Realtor and an investor in the Charleston, SC area. As an agent, I help investors with nearly all asset types and strategies including; Fix & Flip, Buy & Hold, BRRR, House Hack, STRs, Residential Multifamily (2-4), Commercial Multifamily (5+), Commercial Assets, 1031 exchanges, etc. I rank in the top 2% of sales production in our market. In 2020, I co-founded REI Central with 3 of my friends and mentors. REI Central has become the main REIA and networking group in the Charleston market. We regularly have around or over 100 investors and real estate professionals to our main monthly meetup, as well as dozens of members who turn out for each of our more focused sub-groups meetings. As an investor, I have flipped over 100 homes. We currently focus on wholetailing (quick acquisition and disposition), but still flip homes on occasion. I built my buy and hold portfolio to around a dozen single family & small multifamily homes. In 2021, I began selling off that portfolio and scaled to small-medium apartments effectively tripling my units under ownership. I have also owned/operated short term rentals for about 8 years. I graduated from the College of Charleston in 2012 with a degree in philosophy and two minors in environmental studies and english. I became a realtor in 2012. I started my investment company, Pragma Properties, in 2013. I opened a general brokerage, Maven Realty, in 2017 where I serve as broker-in-charge. We are an investment focused brokerage with 30+ agents. Roughly 1/2 of our transactions are investment properties. Most years, we sell 150-200 properties and anywhere from 50-90m in sales volume.
