I am new at proper sales and am having fun discovering this side of property. I was previously in commercial and industrial finance and have studied business finance, accounting and construction management (business finance and accounting as one course). I am looking at not only selling proeprty as an agent but also starting up my own portfolio. For now though my funds are tied up growing in my other business (transportation and logistics) but am looking at getting a unit to rent out by the end of this year. As an agent I have seen a lot of value opening up in residential units in the northern surburbs of Johannesburg (Sandton Surrounds).I have property listings for 1,2 & 3 bed (with 1,2 or 3 baths) well kept units in the most exclusive areas of Johannesburg going for next to nothing (especially for investors from countries with currencies that are stronger than our Rand). I am very new to biggerpockets (20mins) & will upload my pic by the end of next week. Am looking forward to networking and sharing ideas.....
