From there I scaled into a 7 unit apartment building in Brooklyn Center, which I continue to own and operate, and in February 2024 I partnered on an 11 unit apartment building in South Minneapolis, where we completed a full renovation, stabilized the property through leasing, and sold it in March 2026 after two years of operation. That firsthand experience with underwriting, renovation scope, tenant operations, and property management shapes how I advise every client, not just investors. New Construction and Custom Homes - Before real estate, I worked in construction project management, and today I hold an exclusive listing agreement with a custom home builder for a 12 lot development in the $800K to $1.3M range. I understand build timelines, spec selections, lot evaluation, and how to walk buyers through the new construction process from contract to closing, an area where many agents have little direct experience.
