I've been in the Finance Industry since 2016 -- Working alongside Financial Advisors and Business Owners. Just before the Pandemic, I jumped into the lending arena and haven't looked back since. I chose to specialize in the Mortgage Lending because I knew there was an easier way to explain all things mortgage. My connections in Finance and Business Owners allowed for a seamless transition. I started lending on the Retail side of the business so that I could get more repetitions under my belt. In my first year, I funded 212 units for just over $61M in volume. In my second year, I funded 231 units for just under $70M in volume Recently, I made the switch over the the Broker side of lending. I still have the same responsibilities, however I have the ability to shop your loan with all the investors (banks) I work with -- just under 150! As an Independent Mortgage Broker, the investors I work with are trying to earn my business just as much as I'm trying to earn yours. As a result, they reward me with wholesale interest rates which are typically much lower than advertised rates you'll see on your side as the end consumer.
