Started my real estate journey in December 2019 by educating myself through YouTube university with “professor” Max Maxwell through Earn Your Leisure (EYL) University and books. Nevertheless, I closed on my first property in March 2020 which currently serves as my primary residence and has also added to my education regarding the purchasing process that is involved in acquiring a SFR. Through the buying process I engaged the services of a real estate agent who is also an investor who has flipped 50+ properties in the DC and PG county area in the past 12 months. she has subsequently became my mentor, thus adding to my education and also adding value to her portfolio by me finding deals for her through referrals. Through education from my mentor I have registered my LLC in Maryland called True Klass Properties LLC and has embarked on the journey as a rental property investor.
