Jim Armitage

Jim Armitage is an active real estate investor, entrepreneur, and financial services consultant. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Technology Management from University of Phoenix. In 2004, Jim got started in real estate investing through the purchase of his first primary residence which was a two-family residential property. Living in one unit and renting out the other allowed him to gain experience as a landlord and provided motivation for doing more with real estate and investing. Over the next ten years, while also running his own computer networking business and eventually working a full-time job in financial services, Jim acquired three single condominium units as additions to his real estate investment portfolio. Today, Jim has sold the original two-family property and used the capital gained from that sale as an opportunity to get more involved in investing both through real estate and other avenues. This has led to Jim’s continued learning and experience investing in areas such as, but not limited to, real estate crowdfunding, apartment syndications, private equity, and more. Jim is currently focused on achieving financial independence while creating generational wealth for his family through establishing himself as a successful real estate investor with a focus on private equity and apartment syndication.
