Wesley Mullen

Hello! My name is Wes and I am a novice REI. I was introduced to REI by my brother, Zach, who has always had a knack of thinking bigger. He introduced me to the idea of Financial Independence, something that I never considered as I didn't know it was an option. We are partnering as a team on this new journey, along with his wife Haley, and are excited to start on our path to FI. We are pursuing Buy & Holds and currently have one SFR. We're looking to acquire more as well as look into a Lake House/AirBnB (wakesurf anyone?!). I currently work a full-time 8-5 desk job, which is one of the factors contributing to my desire to gain FI. In addition to newfound passion for REI, my hobbies include weightlifting, storm chasing, being on the water, learning a new trade/skill (PDR)..and of course spending time with my German Shepherd, Quasar. Being an avid gym rat, my motto is Discipline > Motivation; as Motivation is temporary while Discipline is instilled. This is why I know that we will become successful REIs, because we will not lose sight of the end goal: FI.
