I teach Spanish and English as a second language at the high school level and would like to learn about opportunities in investment properties. I live in the DFW area and I am going to create a real estate portfolio in this area. I like the idea of creating income through rental property (specifically multifamily units like duplexes). I am enjoying learning about real estate and reading books (or listening to audiobooks). Some books I would recommend to others are The Compound effect, by Darren Hardy, The Richest Man in Babylon, by George S. Clason, and the Millionaire next Door, by Stanley and Danko. Of course, the great books available on BP also, which you will come across if on the BP site!
