I've invested in real estate for 40+ years, starting off with buying a condo, living in it, then moving and renting it out. However, I've become more serious about investing within the past 5 years. I grew up in Northern Virginia and (with the exception of college) have lived in the area my entire life. I'm also a magazine editor, and I'm experimenting with/learning video production.
