Raised a Washingtonian, now a Baltimorean, I am a Christian woman who began a new chapter of my life when I started my real estate investment career. Seeing the vast potential in the Baltimore market, I chose to focus my energy and effort there. In 2016, I found a house for sale that was an historic landmark, it became my first bird-dog deal. Formerly employed by a government contractor, I was a full-time caregiver for a family member (my dad) during his final years. Then, in 2013, the "Sequester" (government shut-down) forced my employer to reduce staff, and I was let go. After daddy passed away, I became a bone-marrow donor for my brother. Although the transplant was successful, sadly, we lost him, too. Writing is one of my strengths. A poet since childhood, occasionally, I have visited elementary school classrooms to teach children how to write poetry. I do this in an effort to prevent illiteracy. Recently, I have been driving for Uber & Lyft and helping people and businesses with their social media and personal internet security. Singing, songwriting and instrumental music are some of the things I enjoy and want to keep as a part of my life. I love to listen to smooth jazz (instruments only) as well as creative, contemporary Christian music. At least once per month, you can find me singing Karaoke. For exercise, I really enjoy Zumba class and brisk walks in my neighborhood. As a native Washingtonian, I route for DC's NFL home team (#HTTR), but I am coming to terms with the fact that my new home team is the Baltimore Ravens. My present focus is on a handful of neighborhoods in North Baltimore City and areas in the adjacent county; I specialize in select neighborhoods of Northeast Baltimore City. Experience: At this time, I am building a list of cash buyers who are interested in houses to buy and hold or fix and flip in Baltimore City. Real Estate Goals: In support of my fellow Baltimore City Buy and Hold real estate investors, my professional goal is to package lucrative deals that yield generous monthly cash flow. For my personal portfolio, my current, short-term goal is to acquire a residence in Baltimore or Washington DC and house-hack it, while fixing and flipping shells (uninhabitable vacant houses) in Baltimore City. Starting with one wholesale deal per month, I want to work up to completing at least 3 per month, while adding multiple passive income streams to my portfolio.
