I have worked as a professional for 30 years. Both sides of my grandparents owned and sold property. I have rehabbed a house to live in, did a tear down for personal residence with line of credit paying all subs, owned a condo with rental management which I sold,purchased and held lot in a high end development and sold. I have built out and been lessor in 2 locations. All of this has taken place in the past 30 years and the last office buildout and lease negotiation was 5 years ago. I flipped a house 30 years ago. I like dealing and am cautiously optimistic in any undertaking. I like real estate and am able to be a cash buyer but trying to figure out my initial direction. All my deals were never landlord involvement.
